Mental Health and Religiousity?
Hello everyone! If you don’t know me, my name is Kero Sorial. I am currently finishing up my Psy.D. and working on my dissertation. I decided to do my research on something that is personal to all of us and would hopefully have a positive impact on our community. I am looking at mental health and religiosity rates in Coptic Orthodox immigrants and comparing the rates between first and second-generation immigrants. The idea is to see if mental health rates (depression, anxiety, and stress) vary by an individual’s levels of religiosity (how religious one is) and vice versa. Additionally, I am exploring if being a first or second-generation immigrant is a factor. I have much more info that I would be happy to share for anyone who is interested. Below you will find a link for a survey that I am kindly asking you to complete. The whole process is completely anonymous (no identifying information is asked) and all data will remain confidential. This should take no longer than 5-10 minutes. Please answer all the questions to the best of your ability. You must be 18 years or older, either a first or second generation Coptic Orthodox immigrant, and able to read English to complete this survey. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me through email or text ([email protected] - 951-534-9861). Thank you so much and please keep me and this project in your prayers.
